Hershey, PA 2/23/67 - The main building of the new Hershey Medical Center was under construction when a fire started near propane cylinders momentarily trapping construction workers on the fifth floor. Flames destroyed wooden platforms on the sixth floor causing this section to collapse on to the floor below. Most firefighting was done from the basket of the Snorkel with some other lines used for spot fires. Firefighters were hampered by mud and a lack of hydrants on the construction site.
